About Us

Katie Decker-Erickson, Principal, started Color Works in 2007 to bring her knowledge of color theory to residential properties. Soon, organizations and business leaders were knocking on her door, eager to bring her talent for coloration into their own buildings. Color Works has now expanded to a full team focused on multifamily, commercial, medical, government, and education projects with an emphasis on services including full interior design plans, exterior design plans, paint color selection, art sourcing and installation, and photo renderings.

Our portfolio includes projects across the US. We work coast to coast, drawing on the cultural inspiration of the region.

“Katie has her clients interests at the center of everything she does on the project no matter the size, she is fully capable of handling all the details from conception, design and completion.”

“Additionally, her designs, color & material selections, product selections always seem to stun those who witness the transformation. My opinion and experience says that you can trust Katie with creating your next dream.”
