Nestled just outside of New York City, this property set amongst vast amount of vegetation needed a common space that was updated and inviting. The clubhouse is set at the back of the property and was longing for fresh look to invite current and future residents to enjoy the amenity and create a greater sense of comfort and space. With beautiful ceilings and extra casework, we were able to pull in additional FF&E items to soften this key amenity.
Given the beauty of the setting, organic material was strategically placed in this clubhouse through the use of leather, plants and wood to create a harmonious segue from the exterior to the interior. Three distinct vignettes were developed to include larger dining, living and relaxing and smaller dining with a bar for serving and entertainment. Glass and mirrors were brought in to help open the space and give it more breath, while odes to New York City reminded residents of their proximity to the Big Apple. Once again, through the strategic partnership with asset management and construction management, we were able to create a fresh, very marketable space while adding value to this asset’s investors.
